1. Acceptance of these terms
By creating an account or using Dunzo, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don’t agree, please don’t use Dunzo.
2. The service
Dunzo is a family chore and rewards management application, available on the web and as mobile apps for iOS and Android. Dunzo is provided by Dunzo, an individual sole operator based in the State of Ohio, United States.
3. Eligibility and accounts
- You must be at least 18 years old to create a Dunzo account and agree to these terms.
- Adults may create “supervised” accounts for children in their household. The adult who creates those accounts is responsible for them and for the children’s use of Dunzo.
- You’re responsible for keeping your password secure and for any activity under your account.
- One person, one account. Don’t share a single adult account between multiple people.
4. Your content and family data
The chores, rewards, points, proof notes, family member names, and other content you create in Dunzo belong to you. You grant Dunzo a limited, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, display, and process this content solely for the purpose of operating the service for you and your family.
You’re responsible for the content you put into Dunzo and for making sure you have the right to share it with the family members in your group.
5. Acceptable use
When you use Dunzo, you agree not to:
- Use the service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law
- Reverse engineer, scrape, decompile, or otherwise abuse the service or our infrastructure
- Attempt to access accounts, families, or data that don’t belong to you
- Use Dunzo to harass, exploit, harm, or endanger any family member, especially children
- Upload content that is obscene, hateful, threatening, or otherwise inappropriate
- Interfere with the proper functioning of the service for other users
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules without prior notice when necessary to protect users.
6. Points are not currency
Points in Dunzo are an internal scoring system between family members. They have no cash value, are not redeemable from Dunzo for money or goods, are not transferable between families or to anyone else, and are not a form of payment. The rewards a family chooses to give for points are arranged entirely between family members; Dunzo is not a party to those arrangements.
7. Third-party services
Dunzo relies on third-party services including Google Sign-In, Apple Sign-In, Resend, Neon, Vercel, Railway, and Expo (see our Privacy Policy for the full list). Your use of those services is subject to their own terms and privacy policies.
8. Service availability and changes
We work to keep Dunzo running and useful, but we make no uptime guarantees. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. When we make material changes that affect how you use Dunzo, we’ll do our best to give reasonable notice.
9. Termination
You can delete your account at any time by contacting us at support-dunzo@googlegroups.com. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, threaten the safety of other users (especially children), pose security risks, or that have been inactive for an extended period.
Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive termination.
10. Disclaimer of warranties
Dunzo is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. Your use of Dunzo is at your own risk.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dunzo is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, revenue, or goodwill arising out of or in connection with your use of Dunzo, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to Dunzo is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you have paid to Dunzo in the twelve months preceding the claim, or (b) one hundred U.S. dollars (US$100).
12. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Dunzofrom and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorney’s fees) arising out of or related to your misuse of the service, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any rights of another.
13. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these terms or Dunzo will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Ohio, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we’ll update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. For material changes, we’ll notify users by email. Continued use of Dunzo after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
